Woodward U @ Woodward West - The Woodward U program at Woodward West is a full-year boarding school based out of the Stallion Springs, CA Woodward West campus. This program offers a hybrid classroom setting where students will take their core academic courses through an online program with the assistance of a dedicated Woodward staff member on-site to help them progress and learn in a positive, constructive, and rewarding environment. The online courses are college-prep and rigorous with expert teachers responsible for teaching each student the material. Students will also have an academic advisor and college counseling as well as the on-site facilitator. Through the Digital Media program, students will utilize experiential learning. Each student will be educated in the fundamentals of videography, filming, editing and film making. The facilities at Woodward West make for the ultimate studio and set to make their dream media into a reality. The courses begin with an introduction to action sports film making and traditional film making techniques. From there the courses expand on the process of creating and editing projects as a member of a production team. Students will have a steady flow of professional athletes w through Woodward West to ensure the best content possible.
